Maligne Lake is situated in Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada. The colour of the azure waters, and the splendour of the surrounding mountains, make the lake one of the most photographed in Canada. There are numerous trails around the lakeshore, and it is also possible to hire a boat.

This shot was taken during a walk along the edge of the lake. Unfortunately the day was overcast, so I wasn’t able to experience the full vibrancy of the lake, but it was still breathtakingly beautiful.
