Photographing Cornwall

Cornwall occupies a peninsula at the south-western tip of England, where a long coastline of cliffs, bays and headlands meets the Atlantic Ocean and the English Channel. The region is characterised by exposed coastal landscapes, sandy beaches, historic harbours and a maritime environment shaped by changing weather and tides.

Granite uplands, sheltered coves and fishing villages contribute to the varied character of the landscape, while shifting light and coastal conditions create marked seasonal variation throughout the year.
