Dartmoor

Covering much of the upland interior of Devon, Dartmoor is a landscape of granite tors, open moorland, wooded river valleys and blanket bogs in south-west United Kingdom. Protected as Dartmoor National Park, the area is shaped by ancient geology and a long history of farming and settlement, with prehistoric monuments and free-roaming ponies contributing to its distinctive upland character.
