Exmoor

Stretching across north Devon and west Somerset in south-west United Kingdom, Exmoor is a landscape of open moorland, wooded valleys, rugged coastline and fast-flowing rivers. Much of the area is protected as Exmoor National Park, where rolling heath, ancient woodland and high sea cliffs combine to create a varied upland landscape.

Its changing weather, distinctive geology and long history of farming have shaped a landscape that supports a rich diversity of habitats and a strong sense of place.
