Photographing Krujë

Krujë is a historic town in north-central Albania, occupying a prominent position on the slopes of Mount Krujë with wide views across the surrounding plains towards the Adriatic coast. Best known as the centre of resistance led by Skanderbeg during the fifteenth century, the town retains a strong historical character through its hilltop castle, traditional Ottoman bazaar and stone-built streets. Its elevated setting and well-preserved historic core distinguish it from many other settlements in Albania.
