Photographing Pembrokeshire

Pembrokeshire is a coastal region in south-west Wales defined by dramatic cliffs, sheltered coves, sandy beaches and a deeply indented shoreline. Much of the coast is protected within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, where the interaction of land and sea has created some of the most distinctive coastal landscapes in Wales.

The region’s varied terrain extends beyond the coastline to include rolling countryside, river valleys and historic settlements. Coastal paths, offshore islands and changing sea conditions contribute to a landscape that is both diverse and strongly shaped by its maritime setting.
