Shkodër

Shkodër is one of the oldest cities in Albania, situated between Lake Shkodër, the Drin River and the Buna River, with the Albanian Alps rising to the north. Its strategic position has made it an important cultural and trading centre for centuries, shaped by Illyrian, Venetian and Ottoman influences that remain evident throughout the city.
