The Afon Lloer flows from the upland basin of Cwm Lloer in the Carneddau range before descending towards Llyn Ogwen.
This mountain stream cuts through rocky terrain, with views across the valley towards the neighbouring peaks of the Glyderau. The surrounding landscape reflects the rugged character of northern Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.
