Most Ljubavi, or the ‘Bridge of Love’, is a traditional wooden footbridge spanning a narrow distributary channel within the Pliva Lakes ecosystem near Jajce. Surrounded by dense woodland and natural riparian vegetation, the low-lying timber structure is deeply integrated into the local wetland environment. The lakes and their interconnected waterways form a vital natural conservation area in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with simple bridges like this historically providing essential pedestrian crossings between the region’s scattered agricultural and fishing settlements.
