Foggy old road leading to Scots pine trees and ruined building.

Quarrymans Chapel

The remains of the Quarryman’s Chapel stand within the former slate mining landscape of Cwmorthin in North Wales.

Built from locally quarried slate, the chapel once served the workers who lived and laboured in the surrounding valley. This view captures the roofless structure emerging through thick hill fog, emphasising its isolation within the upland landscape.
