Southwark Bridge

Southwark Bridge crosses the River Thames in central London. The Grade II listed structure is almost 100 years old and is made from cast iron. It is therefore sometimes referred to as ‘The Iron Bridge’. In the background of the image are the high-rise buildings of the City of London, an important financial and trade district for the capital.

I took this shot in the early evening during a stroll along the River Thames.
