Hi, I’m Ric, a landscape photographer exploring the beauty of the United Kingdom and beyond. From misty mountains to cascading waterfalls, I capture moments that reveal the world’s quieter wonders.
Over the years, I’ve wandered through rugged coastlines, quiet forests, and dramatic hills, camera in hand, seeking scenes that speak to me. This website is my way of sharing some of my favourite images from those adventures.
For me, landscape photography is more than just capturing a scene. It’s about experiencing the world in a deeper way. Early mornings, quiet forests, and dramatic skies offer fleeting opportunities that I try to preserve in my images. Mountains and waterfalls remain my favourite subjects, though I also enjoy discovering hidden corners, peaceful travel destinations, and unexpected beauty in everyday landscapes.
I nearly always carry my tripod, which is essential for carefully composing and capturing each shot. I haven’t yet embraced drones. I prefer to reach viewpoints on foot, savour the journey, and fully immerse myself in the surroundings. I am, however, open to experimenting with new tools in the future.
Photography, for me, is about curiosity, patience, and the joy of seeing the world from fresh perspectives. I hope my images inspire others to explore, notice the details around them, and find their own moments of calm and wonder in nature.
