Crooked Bridge

The Crooked Bridge in Mostar, believed to date back to the 16th century Ottoman period, is often seen as a smaller precursor to the city’s famed Stari Most. Its simple stone arch reflects the engineering and architectural style of the time, built to span the Radobolja River with both function and elegance. Photographed here at blue hour, the bridge’s historic form is gently outlined by the surrounding amber lights.
