The Pliva Waterfall forms the foreground of this view across Jajce, where the Pliva River plunges into the Vrbas River below.

Beyond the falls, the town climbs the surrounding hillside towards the remains of the medieval fortress overlooking the valley. The layered composition combines one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s best-known natural landmarks with the historic settlement that developed around it.
