Langdale Descent

A stream flows down the lower slopes of the Great Langdale valley, charting a course towards the pastures near the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel.

The surrounding fields and fellside tracks reflect the traditional upland farming character of this central Lake District landscape. In the distance, the rugged peaks of the Langdale Pikes dominate the skyline alongside the deep cleft of Stickle Ghyll.
