The Band

The Band is a prominent ridge rising from the Great Langdale valley towards the high fells of the Lake District National Park.

This view looks towards the ridge from the valley floor, with large glacial boulders scattered across the foreground pasture. The landscape reflects the rugged volcanic geology that defines much of this part of Cumbria.
