Photographing Jasper National Park

Jasper National Park occupies a vast area of the Canadian Rockies, characterised by rugged mountain ranges, glacial valleys, forests, rivers and alpine lakes. The park’s comparatively undeveloped landscape supports a strong sense of scale and remoteness, with large areas of wilderness extending beyond the main transport corridors.

Seasonal snow, changing weather and variations in elevation create diverse conditions throughout the year, shaping both the appearance of the landscape and the habitats it supports.
