Rocks on sandy beach lead towards distant mountains.

Morfa Nefyn Beach

Morfa Nefyn, ,

Morfa Nefyn Beach forms a broad sandy bay on the northern coast of the Llŷn Peninsula.

The sheltered shoreline curves around the headland, with open views across the Irish Sea. This stretch of coast combines a rich maritime history with some of the most distinctive coastal scenery in North Wales.

Photographer's notes

Created by combining two focus-stacked images, one focused on the foreground rocks and one on the distant mountains and sea, to maintain sharp detail across the landscape.
