Castle Stalker

Castle Stalker is located on a small island on the eastern edge of Loch Linnhe. The mountains of the Morvern peninsula provide a dramatic backdrop.

Lagangarbh Hut

“The wee white house in Glen Coe”, situated at the foot of Stob Dearg, is owned by the National Trust and used by mountaineers and hillwalkers.

Glenfinnan Viaduct

A ScotRail service crosses the Glenfinnan Viaduct. The famous structure featured in the Harry Potter movie series. Unfortunately, the Jacobite steam train which normally traverses the viaduct was not operating on the day of my visit, but it was an impressive site never-the-less.

Beinn nam Beathrach

A row of Scots Pine trees stand tall on a hill below the cloud-covered peaks of Beinn nam Beathrach.

Caisteal Grùgaig is an Iron Age broch located on the banks of stunning Loch Alsh in the Scottish Highlands. A ford crosses the path leading up to the broch which is where I captured this image of a small waterfall.
